24, 2022 --- We will kick off the 2022 racing season
this Saturday evening, March 26 at Legit Speedway Park with all
6 classes running: Checkered Flag Truck Repair Super Late Models,
Westgate Realty Sportsman Late Models, Reliable Chevrolet IMCA Modifieds,
Mayfield Auto Repair POWRi Super Stocks, Skaggs Repair Hobby Stocks,
and Holiday Inn Express Sport Mods.
New for this season - to help with all the
rising cost to families - all kids 12 and under will get in FREE
to the grandstands weekly. All other gate admission fees will remain
the same with no price increases. Adult general admission will remain
at only $12.00.
This week, we will kick off a little earlier
with Hot Laps at 5:30pm. Pit Gates will open at 4:00pm and Grandstands
will open at 4:30pm.
Bring out the family and see all the new cars
/ drivers in different classes as they display the "Greatest
Show On Dirt!"

6, 2021 --- The 2021 version of the Blue Moon Madness
& the #POWRiSuperStockNationals are in the books. Congratulations
to Richie Tosh and crew on an exciting and action-packed feature
win that included many laps of side-by-side action throughout the
field. Thank you to all of the racers and race fans who endured
the cool weather to enjoy the racing action, which definitely didn't
disappoint. This weekend would not have been possible without these

11, 2021 --- It was a busy evening at Legit Speedway Park
tonight, as the 4th Annual 'Ralph Burnett Memorial / Trucker's Appreciation
Night' presented by Doug Collins Trucking was held at the West Plains,
Missouri oval. If that wasn't enough racing action in itself, fans
were also treated to the feature events of the postponed 'Larry
Phillips Memorial' from back on July 31. In all, thirteen winners
celebrated in victory lane tonight and track champions were also
honored. Next up at Legit Speedway Park will be the annual 'Blue
Moon Madness,' which will take place on October 1-2 featuring the
POWRi Super Stock Nationals paying out a $5,000 top prize! More
information will be forthcoming concerning our 2021 season finale!

28, 2021 --- Racing action heated back up at Legit Speedway
Park earlier this evening, as a weekly points race and youth go-karts
were on the racing card at the storied West Plains, Missouri oval.
Logan Martin emerged victorious in the Super Late Model division
by reaching victory lane over a top five that included runner-up
Kaleb Stolba, Chris Jones, Austin Vincent, and Robby Moore. Other
winners tonight included Shawn Walsh (IMCA Modified), Chuck Russell
(Hobby Stock), Riley Moore (Sportsman Late Model), Cole Murphy (Sport
Mod), Van Moore (Race Kart), and Emi (Yard Kart). Next up at Legit
Speedway Park will be a "Labor Day Special" on Saturday,
September 4 featuring a visit by the Cash Money Super Dirt Series!

METHVIN CONQUERS LEGIT FOR SUPER LATE MODEL WIN!

14, 2021 --- The sixth edition of the 'Camber Classic'
was held earlier this evening at Legit Speedway Park and six different
winners graced victory lane at the storied West Plains, Missouri
oval. In the special event presented by Finish Line Screen Printing,
Kanyan Methvin emerged victorious in the Super Late Model division
over a top five that included Robby Moore, Austin Vincent, Joey
Smith, and Kaleb Stolba. Other winners on the evening included Sawyer
Crigler (IMCA Modified), Donnie Miller (Super Stock), Brad Ball
(Hobby Stock), Billy Romans (Sportsman Late Model), and Matt Brown
(Sport Mod). The Legit Speedway Park will sit idle next weekend
before returning to action again on Saturday evening, August 28
with a weekly race plus youth go-karts.

WEATHER POSTPONES LARRY PHILLIPS MEMORIAL...
July
31, 2021 --- A thunderstorm just before the feature was
set to roll, forced COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented
by Lucas Oil and Legit Speedway Park staff to postpone the balance
of Saturday night’s Larry Phillips Memorial program. Via prelim
action, current Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Logan Martin earned
the NewVisionCustomShirts.com Pole Award with Kyle Beard starting
alongside, but heavy rain and a power outage prevented the feature
from being run. Track and series officials are looking for a possible
reschedule date.
Thirty-five entries entered the $5,075-to-win affair
with Jesse Stovall topping Mark Martin Automotive qualifying, while
Logan Martin, Terry Phillips, Kyle Beard, and Scott Crigler each
won heat races. B-Main action was topped by Kaeden Cornell and Steve
Stultz. Everyone hold on to your armbands and tickets. The make-up
date for tonight’s features will be posted as soon as we get
arrangements made for the reschedule! Please stay tuned for that
date!

MILLER BAGS $6,000 FOR FIRECRACKER CLASSIC WIN!

3, 2021 --- The annual 'Firecracker Classic' took place
at Legit Speedway Park this weekend and Donnie Miller emerged victorious
in the Mayfield Auto Repair POWRi Super Stock special to claim the
$6,000 payday! Donnie beat Richie Tosh, Tony Anglin, Dustin Tiger,
and Jeremy Russell to the checkered flag in the 50-lap headliner,
which was presented by the Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks. Other winners
over the lucrative weekend in West Plains were Jamie Robards (Super
Late Model), Jeff Taylor (ICMA Modified), John Stiner (Hobby Stock),
Bobby Prosise (Sportsman Late Model), and Cam Rank (Sport Mod).
Our next scheduled event will be 'Larry Phillips Memorial' on Saturday,
July 31, which will be headlined by a $5,075 to win Super Late Model
show that will be sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series!

26, 2021 --- Action heated back up at Legit Speedway Park
tonight and the racing program was headlined by a Hobby Stock special,
which paid out a $750 top prize. Chuck Russell emerged victorious
in the Checkered Flag Truck Repair Hobby Stock main event, which
was presented by Scaggs Repair & The Firm, over a top five that
consisted of John Stiner, Kevin Collins, Jessie Shearin, and Darren
Fox. Other winners on the evening at the storied West Plains, Missouri
oval included Scott Crigler (Super Late Model), Sawyer Crigler (IMCA
Modified), Tony Anglin (Super Stock), Robby Moore (Sportsman Late
Model), Cam Rank (Sport Mod), Wesson Collins (Race Kart), and Brantley
Nash (Yard Kart).

SKINNER BREAKS THROUGH AT LEGIT SPEEDWAY PARK!
Veteran Racer Wins ASCS Mid-South vs ASCS Warrior Clash
in West Plains
June
5, 2021 --- Five previous wins in ASCS Regional competition
over his career, Saturday marked a first for Marshall Skinner at
Legit Speedway Park, as the wily veteran rolled into Victory Lane
with not one but two ASCS Regions. Topping the regional showdown
between the ASCS Mid-South and Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region
presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps, Skinner took the
green from third and trailed the opening eight revolutions to Derek
Hagar, who suffered a flat tire. Assuming the lead on the restart,
Marshall held point the rest of the A-Feature.
Rolling from eighth, Howard Moore made it to second
and was breathing down Skinner’s neck with only 0.305-seconds
separating the top two drivers at the finish. Kyle Bellm followed
from ninth to complete the podium. Chase Porter from 13th made it
to fourth, with Landon Britt fifth after starting 11th. Cody Gardner
was sixth, followed by Gunner Ramey from 14th. Timothy Smith followed
with Derek Hagar, able to fight back to a ninth-place finish. Earnie
Ainsworth completed the top ten.

SCRAPPIN' 40'S WEEKEND NETS EIGHT DIFFERENT WINNERS!
Holiday Weekend Tradition Continues at Legit Speedway
Park with Two-Day Show

29, 2021 --- A Memorial Day weekend tradition continued
at Legit Speedway Park the last two days, as the 7th Annual Scrappin'
40's were held at the historic West Plains, Missouri oval. On Friday
night, Richie Tosh came out on top of the Super Stock special to
bag a $1,000 top prize, while Mark Norris picked up the $750 paycheck
in the IMCA Modified division. Billy Romans (Sportsman Late Model)
and Kevin Rank (Sport Mod) were also victorious in the first night
of the doubleheader, which was presented by West Plains Recycling.
On Saturday evening, Donnie Miller emerged as the winner in the
Super Stock division to claim the $1,500 payday, while Sawyer Crigler
captured the $1,000 windfall with the IMCA Modifieds. Cole Wells
also won with the Cash Money Super Dirt Series and Bobby Bryant's
win in the Hobby Stock class wrapped up the hectic weekend.

22, 2021 --- Following a rain-out last weekend, a special
$5.00 Night and Veterans Night was combined with all weekly classes
in racing action at Legit Speedway Park, along with the Youth Go-Karts.
Joe Godsey picked up the checkered flag in the Super Late Model
division, while Jeff Taylor emerged victorious in his IMCA Modified.
Lonnie Duncan (Super Stock), Bobby Ratterree (Sportsman Late Model),
Chuck Russell (Hobby Stock), Cole Murphy (Sport Mod), and Wesson
Collins (Youth Go-Kart) were the other winners on the evening at
the historic West Plains, Missouri oval. Next up at Legit Speedway
Park will be the annual running of the Scrappin' 40s on May 28-29
with elevated purses for both the IMCA Modifieds and the Poweri

1, 2021 --- It was a big night of racing competition at
Legit Speedway Park tonight, as the IMCA Modified Show-Me Showdown
presented by Reliable Chevrolet took center stage at the West Plains,
Missouri oval! A strong field of IMCA Modifieds invaded the historic
Show-Me State facility to vie for the $2,000 winner's check. At
the unfurling of the checkered flag in the 40-lapper, Sawyer Crigler
found himself celebrating the triumph over a top five that included
Robert Powers, Tony Anglin, Drake Findley, and Roger Witt. Other
winners on the evening included Scott Crigler (Super Late Model),
Tony Anglin (Super Stock), Ben Piper (Sportsman Late Model), Will
Smart (Hobby Stock), and Kevin Rank (Sport Mod). We will be off
on May 8, but will return to action at Legit Speedway Park on Saturday,
May 15 with a Veteran's Night program plus Youth Go-Karts!

RICKMAN WINS INSTANT CLASSIC AT LEGIT SPEEDWAY PARK!

3, 2021 --- A mere 0.029 seconds, that was the margin
of victory for Mississippi’s Brian Rickman in Saturday night’s
COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil feature at Legit
Speedway Park. Rickman overcame a spirited battle with NewVisionCustomShirts.com
Pole Sitter, Hunter Rasdon to score the $3,000 victory, which marked
the fourth CCSDS victory of his career and his first since 2018.
For the second-straight night Rasdon was the Mark Martin Automotive
Fast Qualifier, and he backed up his qualifying lap with a heat
race win to earn the pole for the 40-lap finale. Rasdon jumped to
the lead at the outset of the feature at the 3/8-mile oval with
fellow front-row-starter, Billy Moyer Jr., and third-starting Brian
Rickman in tow. Rasdon paced the first half of the race with Rickman
moving into second on lap 14 as Moyer Jr. slipped to third.
Rickman began making up ground on the leader and overtook Rasdon
for the lead on lap 29 only to see Rasdon inch back ahead on the
32nd circuit. The Jonesboro, Arkansas competitor maintained a narrow
advantage at the front of the field over the next few laps before
Rickman made a last-lap move to take both the lead and the win by
less than three hundredths of a second. Rasdon, Moyer Jr., Billy
Moyer, and Kyle Beard (started 15th) rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

27, 2021 --- A long off-season finally came to an end
earlier today, as Legit Speedway Park kicked off their 2021 season
with a day race featuring six different classes in racing action.
Austin Vincent (Super Late Models), Ken Schrader (IMCA Modified),
Donnie Miller (Super Stock), Luke Aitken (Sportsman Late Model),
John Stiner (Hobby Stock), and Mark Tackitt (Sport Mod) all reached
victory lane in the season lid lifter at the historic West Plains,
Missouri oval. Up next at Legit Speedway Park will be a visit by
the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series on Saturday, April 3. A $3,000 paycheck
will be on the line for the ground-pounding Super Late Models, while
all other classes will also be in competition!!!
